For me, Discovery Toys® has been a life-saver. My husband and I have always believed in living life to its fullest. With the birth of our son, Garrett, in the summer of 2006, life reached a new high. But life in South Florida certainly isn't cheap, and even though we both have two jobs that we love and enjoye, we still found we were struggling to make ends meet. After searching endlessly for something that I could do from home and actually enjoy, I met Amy, who is now my Discovery Toys® manager, at a baby faire in Fort Lauderdale. It was not the prospect of a supplemental income that lured me . . .it was this cute little boat, that I know now is the "Hammer Away!" I had never even heard of Discovery Toys®. As soon as Amy mentioned that they were looking for independent consultants in our area, I knew I was going to be in for the long haul. There is something fantastic about these toys that is hard to describe until you see them. They are seemingly simple in design (no bells, lights, or whistles that seem to be common-place in todays toys), yet they are anything but simple. They are so ingeniously designed that most of them can be enjoyed by children who are several years apart. These were the things that told me I would enjoy these toys and that I would enjoy sharing them with others. We are just getting things started, but I know that Discovery Toys® is going to hold some exciting things for our family in the years to come! |
